Here are my predictions for Sunday, since I am completely unaffiliated
Pats v Steelers:

This is going to be an awesome game - cold as shit - so low scoring. This pick makes me nervous, because it is so hard to go against Bill and his adjustments and the true oneness of the Patriots, but I think this time, the raw talent of the Steelers will win out:
17-13 Steelers.

Falcons v Eagles:

Atlanta will not be able to stop the Eagles' offense. By far, they are the worst defensive team of the 4 (which doesn't say much by itself) but are much better than last year. Philly forces Vick to pass more than he wants to by getting ahead early - which spells disaster for the Dirty Birds:
38-24 Eagles.

Ream me all you want. I'll be just as happy, no matter who wins.

:hi:

5. Collinsworth
If they replaced Colinsworth with a feces-flinging chimpanzee, it'd be an improvement.

2. Pats and Iggles
I'm sticking with my August prediction; it's going to be Pats and Iggles in Jacksonville.

The Steelers are looking very mortal down the stretch. There is no way they should have let the Jets make it close. Do you really think that Adam Viniateri would have shanked those two field goals?

New England 20, Steelers 6

3. I see that as one of those games that builds the team even more.

I'm a big believer in that.

I followed NC State's 1983 national champ season - and every game was like that in the tourney. That made that team even better.

Lucky they were. Teams like that often keep that luck - and use it later.
Remember the "tuck rule?"

8. Where on earth did you get 20 to 6? lol
We have the number one defense against the run and if Brady starts throwing more we'll do the same thing we did to him last time. Your crazy if you think NE is going to win by 14 points if at all. :silly:

6. As a Raider Fan, I feel partly responsible this mishap
They should have never of won the first Snow-bowl and wouldn't of if hadn't been for Bullshit call about a tuck with Brady.

This Snow-bowl could be different

I really do hope Pittsburgh shoves it down the throat of this finesse New England team (again), they deserve it.

When Steelers' running game gets in step, Faneca knows the beat goes on

And they probably won't stop running the ball Sunday, either, until the New England Patriots (15-2) prove they can stop the Steelers' rushing attack in the AFC championship game at Heinz Field. The Patriots weren't able to do that in the first meeting Oct. 31, when the Steelers rushed for 221 yards -- their second-highest total this season -- on 49 carries.

"When you're feeling it and when you're doing it, there's nothing wrong with getting 3 to 4 yards every time we run the ball," Faneca said. "It doesn't have to be 6 or 7 yards."

On a day when not a lot of things were going right, the Steelers finished with 193 yards rushing on 43 carries against the Jets, who had the NFL's fifth-ranked rushing defense during the regular season.
(snip)
The Steelers have spent the week downplaying how well they ran the ball against the Patriots in their 34-20 victory on Halloween, the game that ended New England's record 21-game winning streak.
