They play no one. Any team could have a 20 and 2 record if they played the equivalent of high school "B" teams all year. Seriously, the announcers can go on and on about how long their streak in the SEC is, but they never realize that the SEC is a fucking joke.

1. Kentucky
Had the 10th toughest schedule in the Nation last year and this Year it is the 17th toughest. That ain't bad.

2. Maybe on paper, but not in reality.
SEC teams are consistently overrated. Teams like Ole Miss, and Florida are always given more credit than they deserve.

3. KY
Except for this year they have always been rated in the top 10 rpi ratings for strength of schedule. I hate to debate someone who doesnt have the facts in front of them. Reality is 2 natl. champs in late 90's + runner up in between,, so take that. You must be an IU or Lousyville fan.

13. Look I know IU is a joke this year...
... that falls on the shoulders of Coach Davis. He is fucking horrible. I cant wait until he is gone. There is talk that they are holding out for the coach of Gonzaga.

15. Kentucky fan here -
You don't know what you are talking about. Indy hasn't had a team in years and yet you blame it on everything but yourselves. You learned that trick from Knight. If Kentucky is so lame why can't Indiana ever beat us? Poor you - put your complaints where you mouth is and just play ball.

The SEC is one of many respected conferences. It has up years as well as down years - like every other conference. What kind of record does Indiana have against SEC teams and what does that say about their ability? With your logic Indiana should be wiping the floor with every non-confernce game they play since they have such good preparation in the Big Ten.

Kentucky has a wonderful tradition, strong conference, excellent opponents, rabid rivalries, and some people whining when they don't match up. They just don't usually look for excuses like you. You can knock the schedule all you want but the success always seems to prove out come March and tourney time - they are always ready to play.

17. All I read was blah blah Tradition, blah blah.
Tradition is all that gets KY rankings. I guess I forgot how hard it is for them to beat up on those turd schools in the SEC and then get a #2 cede in the tourney giving them a cake walk to the sweet 16.

Like I said in another post IU has been to the Championship game more recently than KY.

18. "More recently" that's a mighty strong argument - NOT
Lame, lame, lame. Tradition plus damn fine basketball playing is the Kentucky program. And you are delusional if you think anyone gets a cake walk to the Sweet 16. Guess you wouldn't know about that, though would you? Since you don't get there often enough to be any judge.

You can bash UK all you want - but facts and stats don't realign themselves just to suit you.

Just for comparison purposes - how many NCAA tournament games has Indiana won in the last 10 years? Anybody can have one great (lucky?) year, consistency is what builds dynasties.

19. No one gets a cake walk to the sweet 16? Yeah right!
If KY is as damn good as you think they are they shouldn't have any problem rolling over the #16, or #15 cede they have to play in the first game, and then the #8 or #9 for the second.

As for number tourney wins, honestly how hard do you think it is to rack them up when your first game of the tourney every year is Saint Mary of the Woods, or University of Evansville.

There is a huge difference between starting the tourney at a #1 or #2 cede like KY, and starting out at a #8 or #9 cede like IU.

20. Boo f*cking hoo....
You are the one who started this whine fest because poor little ol'Indy doesn't get the respect you think is its due. You just make excuses rife with jealousy over another team then act all huffy when someone calls you on it.

Indy would be lucky to win against Saint Mary of the Woods or University of Evansville nowadays - and THAT'S where your real problem lies. The inability to admit the only thing wrong with your team is your team. Is the whole basketball world against you and IU or just Kentucky? Maybe you should change your DU name to Alibi Ike. Enough, rant on alone, your losing this pissing contest and I have better things to do - like watching the re-play of this year's Kentucky-Indiana game. Do you happen to remember the score? I do.

21. I started this thread because KY plays maybe 2 real teams all fucking year
and when they do they either lose as with Kansas, or steal it like they did from Louisville.

The rest of the season consists of beating up on teams that couldn't beat Athletes in Action, and having the announcers do their recruiting for them.

I make no apologies for IU, but I would stack the Big 10's tourney performance against the SEC's for the past 5 years any day.

8. Uh, didn't they just beat Kansas
A few weeks ago?
KU was the #2 team in the nation at the time.

Now KU got blown out today by Villanova, and they have been inching toward this blowout for about three games now.

Kentucky basketball is tradition and Ashley Judd in the stands ain't too bad either!
