Eagles/Falcons Game Thread
Yah I'm back, once again starting a thread which could be your place to bitch, analyze, cheer, boo, complain, keed, moan, groan, complain about paid off refs, and not to mention in the end either gloat to high heaven.. or eat some crow (all crow will be served with a slice of humble pie and ice cream, with your choice of beverage YAY!!!)

I'm rooting for the Falcons (I already have my crow in the oven) But regardless... everyone enjoy!!!

2. Go Iggles!
But if they play this week the way they played last week (not to mention the last 2 Conference Championship games they hosted), I like my crow with a mild BBQ sauce!

3. I grew up in Atlanta
and I'm for the Falcon's too. I've been to a lot of their games many years ago. My brother is absolutely one of their biggest fans. He's sure they will win today. I hope he isn't too disappointed if they don't make it today! Oh well, I sure hope they do...

6. What was that National Anthem?
Are Eagles fans on Prozac today? They didn't even boo the worst National Anthem this side of Carl Lewis.

Don't let me down, boo-birds! I'm a homegirl!

7. I remember a story
About Philadelphia fans.. although I can't remember where I read it... when once during a game (Phillies not Eagles).. they had an easter egg hunt.. and they booed the kid who didn't find any eggs. It might of just been a joke to explain how eager they are to boo.

But I felt bad the first thing I thought when the kid started singing was, are they going to boo him?

12. If they go against the Pats
which I'm sure they will...

they will lose the Superbowl.

I'm still cheering for The Falcons. But i fear the weather is against them.

14-10... Vick's weakness as a passer though has pretty much been shown throughout most of the game...

Edit: That last drive not included.. that one pass definitely proves he can get the job done on the passing at times.. just he's thrown some really bad one prior to that drive.

playing catch up the entire game. If we can tie it or get ahead, then we've got a chance.

The only consolation for an Eagles' win is it really makes Limbaugh look like a total idiot, since McNabb is playing a great game today.

The media is not "helping" McNabb today.

if its a one score game in the 4th, Atlanta has a shot since they'll have the wind.

19. The LAST thing
Falcons needed was Vick to throw an interception deep in Eagles' territory.

That's the ballgame. (being realistic here, fellow Falcon fans)

20. "shakes head"
I missed that, I was out of the room getting my dinner.

I don't think that's automatically the ball game.. but if the Eagles get at least a fieldgoal out of it.. It means the Falcons will REALLY have to be close to perfect in the fourth quarter on both ends to win.

22. One can only hope
A quick score here would help the Falcons get back into it.

I still feel our Birds are a year or two away. I'm really surprised they are in the NFC Championship today.

At least the Falcons are back in the game.

I dunno how the players are able to stay out in the cold. It's only 40 here and I can barely feel my fingers.

Just took the crow out of the oven.. munching on a wing as we speak. Want the other wing?

I'm saving the humble pie though.. for in case the Patriots lose to the Steelers. Ice cream is still available though!!!

Save the Ice Cream too cold for that.
But I doubt you'll be needing the humble pie however, this is the Patriots we are talking about.

if anyone wants Humble Pie... I'll give a slice... and there's an incomplete.. so if the nail isn't already in the coffin.. it's been hammered in now.

Congrats to the Falcons to making it to the championship game at least.

And congrats to Eagles.. you're finally going.
