THE MAGIC RAT **SUPERBOWL PREDICTION EXTRAVAGANZA** THREAD
I have never been wrong in all my years of Superbowl prognostication, and I suspect this year will be no different.

Without further delay I give you my fearless forcast for next Sunday's big game between the Philadelphia Eagles and the New England Patriots.

EAGLES - 36
PATRIOTS - 39

I am picking New England to win the championship.
Will Pitt, you can officially contact the New England Psychiatric authorities and be put upon suicide watch. I know how much you love it when I pick your team.

3. So you're saying I should bet the over?
Edited on Mon Jan-24-05 12:40 AM by Mojambo
65 points would be a VERY high point total.

I think both defenses are better than that.

I'll go with 24-21 Patriots.

4. 39 + 36 is 75 points!
So yes, take the over. Is the line out already?

6. Now Math has never been my strong point but
That one was a real low point for me!

I think I saw someone throw out 6 points as the early line on the game. Sounds about right to me.

5. The Eagles have no chance
Just like they had no chance all season, no chance against the vikes, and no chance against the Falcons. Its just an honor to have a chance to lose to the patriots.

Patriots 112
Eagles 3

As democrats we should pick the eagles. The patriot's act has coincided with Bush's first term. Its time to let the Eagle's soar...

Check with me next week and I will tell you how the Eagles will win...

7. I don't think it's fair to say that the Eagles were given no chance
against those teams. They were favored in every game weren't they?

Informed opinion had the Eagles as the strong favorite throughout the NFC playoffs.

8. That's a nice guess for NEXT Sunday
but what about on Super Bowl Sunday, in two weeks? Do you think the Eagles will come through then?
