You're all wrong about football dynasties
The CARDINALS are, like, the best football team ever. Discuss.

9. arizona is an example of
a not totally successful transplant. the locals, for whatever reason, haven't ever totally accepted them. they were forced to play -- in fact, will continue to play until 2006 -- in a college venue, sun devil stadium. in addition to merely being bad, they've had some disastrous drafts, player controveries galore, consistently lose their free agents, and come close to getting out drawn at home. in fact, they're last in the nfl in attendance by a staggering margin:

http://sports.espn.go.com/nfl/attendance

whatever holdover fans they may have had from their years in StL probably jumped ship when the rams started winning in a relatively short period of time, and their adopted fans don't seem particularly excited. and their front office consistently fails to give them a reason to look forward to the future.

it's just an unfortunate deal all the way around.
