congratulations must go out to the New England Patriots for winning the most consecutive games in a single season. 18-1. That's fuckin awesome. Let that sink in. 18-1.

I think the Pats streak is gonna be under investigation.
Doesn't look good for Bellicheat.

In October it's gonna be the Mets and Johann to brak a 22 year drought!!!!
Soon it will be Nolan with Okposo and the Islanders to bring the cup home.

11. On paper I just don't see how Philly has a chance against the Mets |
|
Johann Santan is the best pitcher in the game. He is Pedro Martinez in his prime.
With the current Pedro competing against #2 pitching I don't see how he doesn't win at least 18. Then you have John Maine who many had slated as the possible ace going into the season pitching in the # 3 slot and Perez in the #4.
To top it off you have Pelfrey, who has just amazing stuff, many have slated as a guy who'll out as an ace pitching in the #5 slot.
Pitching wins championships and the Mets are just stacked with EXCELLENT starting pitching.
Last season I had a big question mark with the Mets going into the season with Pedro out. I just don't see Philly or Atlanta having a shot at taking these guys down. Last season the Mets were weak and ripe for the taking. The Mets had that division on plate for anyone who wanted it all season long.
This season I don't think anyone has a prayer against this Met team. All they need is three runs a game to win and they will get that no problem.

12. I didn't appreciate the Phillies |

letting Rowand go. For the past two seasons they have been horrid in April. If they get a good run out of the box this season it will be an exciting race. I look forward to the season starting.

Couldn't win when it mattered most.
And their coach will forever be known as Bellicheat.
