The Greatest Thing About The Patriots Losing |
|
Edited on Mon Feb-04-08 03:27 PM by Magic Rat
Was that all year Mr. Sunshine, Bill Bellicheat, had his team focused on one goal, winning every game and winning the superbowl. Then he and they, could be happy and bask in the glow of victory. Only then would he let the protective armour of his bubble that he lives in and houses his team's emotion in come down.
But only if they won.
And they didn't.
So they had arguably the greatest season ever, and their miserable coach can't take five minutes to enjoy it because he's always planning for the next game. Never crack a smile. Never show any emotion.
Well, now you get to stay in an emotional coma for another six months, Bill. You blew it, and all that insecurity and anger you carry around inside you is gonna fester and fester.
I hope you go to the supermarket today and buy a lot of TUMS, you're gonna need it.
Jerk.

spend the off season setting aside some money to pay for his fines next season. He is being treated as a pedophile murderer on New Orleans Radio today. It surely can't just be our opinion of the man.

3. ...until he takes it out on your pathetic Jets asses next fall. |

The Jets were 0-2 in the regular season against the evil coach with the Tums jones. That won't change come next year, especially if Mangini a) stays with Pennington and his rubber arm, but b) fails to stick to (or even craft) a 60-minute game plan built around Pennington's weaknesses (short passes only), and c) the rest of your team continues to be the just-slightly-better-than-the-Dolphins mob of staggering semi-pros.
Unless you think somehow that the Pats being defeated by an on-that-night superior Giants team translates into your sorry horde of bottom-feeders having a shot next year. Of course you do. I love it. ;)
Wagers anyone?

next season's schedules be published? I searched today and could not find any, however the Saints-Chargers are scheduled to play in London in October so some scheduling has been set.

I'll admit that right now.
I'd rather suck with my coach though, than win with yours.

it sets a bad example when people don't keep their bets.
And it's not your fault as much as it is trumad's...you simply gave him the out.
I guess it's good in some ways the bet (in quotation marks) turned out to be a mute point.
And BTW, don't be mad at me because the Patriots lost.
Be mad at the Patriots.
on edit..typo

successful football coaches are obsessive compulsive assholes.
I know everyone will be shocked to discover this. They are highly paid CEOs of hundred plus million dollar companies, judged on a daily basis by millions of people, all of whom think they can do the job better. They may even be nice guys, or were, before the job ate them up.
Tom Coughlin was almost fired the other year because his players hated playing for him. Joe Gibbs, a guy who everyone loved, was known for abandoning his family for months on end to live at the office. Nice guys don't last long, guys with balance in their lives don't last long. Andy Reid, who everyone says is a nice guy. didn't know his two sons were out of control until it was too late. Tony Dungy, another really nice guy, didn't know his son was in trouble until it was too late. (not a reflection on the men, it could happen to anyone, it just seems to happen more to guys like this) Bill Parcells?
in fact, name one?
