Ok I know Cuban can't be fired, he is the owner, but he completly screwed up the team by trading for J. Kidd.

A team that was 6 minutes from 3-0 in the finals 3 years ago. Such a shame.

1. Mavs can make some noise
Although I don't see them winning the championship.

2. IF they make the playoffs,
AND they get matched with someone like Houston, they MIGHT make it to the 2nd round.

I have watched the Mavs since Cuban bought the team. I lived in Dallas, I watched almost EVERY game, and Dirk DOES NOT have "IT". He will crumble under pressure.

I don't even think they are going to make the playoffs, and that makes me so sad!!!

3. I'm just curious....you know what's going on with the Mavs
more than me since they're your team....

But do you think you're going to find anyone more committed to winning than Cuban?

He seems like a guy that will not stop until he comes up with a way to win it all.

Do you not think he knows what he's doing or what?

Just curious.

It is not my team, but I would like to reply to your question. I think it is not a matter of whether Cuban is committed to winning, but a matter of does he actually know what he is doing. I think Cuban does not really know how to put together a winning team. In trading for Jason Kidd he made a trade that just about everyone knew was a bad trade. Not only did he trade Devin Harris to get Kidd, but he also traded four other players, money, and draft picks for Kidd and maybe two other unknown guys. That was a very bad trade that could only have been saved by Dallas going deep into the playoffs. The Mavs need an owner who knows how to build a team. I think Cuban does not really know how to do so.
