The Vikings give up this year's 1st round pick as well as BOTH of their 3rd rounders (one acquired from Denver).

Chiefs and Vikes swap their 6th round picks (moving the Vikes up a few notches there).

As a Vikings fan, I am delighted to get such a monster for our defensive line. He's got to stay off the sauce though, or this will bite the Vikes worse than the Herschel Walker disaster.

2. It's an awesome trade for both teams....

...the Vikings have a window in the next 2 to 3 years to do something, and KC needs to rebuild. It fits both their needs.

Of course, there is one caveat: If T-Jack can't play better at QB, the Vikings are up sh!t creek without a paddle.

If Jackson plays at anywhere near the level he did last year, 20 Jared Allens wouldn't be enough to get the Vikes into the playoffs.
