Yes, that's correct, .420. And yet the sports equilavent of the axis of evil, Boston, New York, and ESPN barely acknowledge it. If he keeps it up, people will have to take notice. I think he's good enough to do it for an extended time.

The broadcast guys are having a phone convo with (the recovering) John Smoltz. They were nicely complimentary of Chipper's prowess. I mention it not in cofrontation to your OP, but in case you are not watching the game at the moment.

They May not be talking about it as much as they should, but they are talking about how well Chipper Jones is hitting. Yesterday they ran it on their ticker for at least a short period. In addition, on one of their shows there was a question of whether he could hit that well going into the All-Star break.
