1. It would be astonishing if Tiger could win this. Too bad I can't stand golf, else I'd watch it.

Hope everyone enjoyed Tiger's time off--especially you, Phil!

Tee-off time is 5:50 EST.

9. Ever Since I Read About Tiger The Water Hog
I'm not digging him as much.

PALM BEACH, Fla. - Celine Dion is a water hog. The Palm

Beach Post did a study of local water usage and found Celine Dion's 5.7 acres in Jupiter, Florida, used about 6.5 million gallons of water in a year.

That's more than 250 times the amount of water the average resident uses, or equivalent to filling a 50-gallon bathtub every four minutes.

A 9,800-square-foot home is under construction at the site.

Representatives for Dion did not respond to requests for comment.

Tiger Woods was second on newspaper's list, using about 3.7 million gallons of water in a year.

A spokesman for Woods' charitable foundation says much of that went to new landscaping.

17. Actually many golf courses and more to come have started
going green. As a golfer myself I see a variety of wildlife on the courses I play. A golf course can be a safe haven for many species.

19. Get back to me when they stop heavily watering courses that are built in the desert
Or building courses on the sides of mountains and destroying pristine views

Until then I stand by my criticism.

10. Yeah, yeah, I know - we're gonna get killed on this thread but I don't care.
I understand that golf is a great waste of real estate.
But much like I know pornography is degrading to women, that doesn't mean I don't take a peek from time to time.

If he does this, and it's quite possible that he will, it's impressive.
But, I'm pulling for Rocco Mediate.

If there's a guy named Rocco in the field, I'm backing him.
Let's see if he suffers a Tiger bite.

It's on all night.
I know what I'm doing.
