6. Really. They shouldn't end the series until all the games have had their say.
The Lakers might win 200% of the remaining games.

Isn't GD kinda focused on semi-serious discussions ?

7. Lot of truth to that
The second best selling NBA jersey of all time, behind Michael Jordan's, is Kobe Bryant's. I consider that a reasonable measure of national popularity. The TV ratings also spiked when the Lakers were winning during this series.

The Celtics can enjoy their moment. Next winter when Bostonians are shovelling their way out of a foot of snow on the driveway, I will be sipping some fine California wine in 68 degree sunny January weather, shorts and shades on, lol.

(Hey, I gotta hold on to something to get me over my depression!)

16. No, it's not funny because of the vicious way you and
some of your fellow Obama fans treated Hillary supporters .. driving most of those donors away from DU to other sites.

And while I've done my part complying with the 7 day cooling down period, you just want to keep it up and grind salt into open wounds.

And now you're mocking me for a thread in which I said grave dancing doesn't belong at DU.

What a terrible thing for me to say, ha jgraz?

Another time, I'll go into some glaring personal issues I've detected, which are without question the driving force behind your poor citizenship and complete lack of empathy.

Please, oh please, don't keep us in suspense. I'm dying to know all the deep dark secrets of my mind.

Put on your best Bill Frist tie and let me have it. Please.

22. Sadly, yes.
Though I have to say, I don't understand the creepy fascination with psychoanalyzing people he disagrees with. Maybe this would be a scary threat to someone who's deathly afraid of people finding out who they "really are", but to most people it's just silly and pathetic.

23. You mean like pointing out that the reason you get off
on making cruel remarks and comments about others helps you better cope with all of the countless failures in your life and the many things that could have been had it not been for your devastating self esteem issues and absence of human compassion?

Yea, I can understand why you wouldn't want to hear that.

How else can one explain your fascination with preying on people who are down?

But you keep it up jgraz. I realize it's how you self-medicate your pain.

26. OH... you've sooo nailed me. Now tell people how I can smile and follow a light.
Paging Dr. Frist... Paging Dr. Frist...

I'd explain it to you, but I can see you're happier in your own fantasy of superiority (and you probably wouldn't understand it anyway). So you just keep telling yourself: you're good enough, you're smart enough and, darn it, people like you.

I'll just be over here dealing with my countless failures.

It's good you rofl so you don't cry.

You know jgraz, it's never really too late to turn over a new leaf and start being a good person toward others who are less fortunate.

all over the DU sports forum with your divisiveness.

It's unbecoming behavior and highly unwelcome.

But first thing's first...take care of yourself. :pals:

13. The Supreme Court in a Night Session
removed the win from Boston and granted it to the Lakers...also this decision does not set a precedent...when asked, Justice Scalia said "It was our desision, get over it"

Justice Thomas commented on the desision, "What he said!"

Other Justices were not available for comment.

21. In the 1979 US Open Final Martina Navratilova won more points..
...but Tracy Austin won the match...it was like 7-6, 1-6, 7-6. So you could say she won the popular vote but still lost.
