That review process for gymnastics is a mess
How boring is that? Just makes me sick having to sit and wait the whole time.

1. Nothing compares to Moscow 1980
It wasn't telecast in the USA so nobody remembers. The Russians held up the score of the final women's gymnast -- a Russian -- for 20 minutes. When it was finally announced, the score was just enough to edge Nadia Comaneci for the all around gold. None of the unbiased observers thought it was a justified result.

The Romanians were so furious it was one of the reasons they refused to join the Eastern European boycott of the Los Angeles Games in '84.
