New players, lots of transfers. It happens. Notre Dame has undergone similar struggles under Weis or have you forgotten last season?

5. You know, it didn't hit me that Rodriguez was new when I was

watching him...I guess cuz of the name and WVU. with ND, though, the decline has been pretty steady ober the past 10 years or so with bad coaches until Weis, who, quite frankly, hasn't proven himself one way or the other yet with the mess he inherited.

I don't think any team screams "national title contender". We won't be seeing anything greater than the Sugar this year.

UGA is probably the only team that can come close to matching USC in talent
