Joey Harrington is now a New Orlean Saint
Lord Please take care of Drew Brees

Harrington is third on the depth chart behind Brees and Mark Brunell

1. I'm surprised no one is approaching Culpepper.
He's not great by any means, but Harrington? Oy vey.

3. He did.
But even backing up Brees may look better than sitting at home now that the season is under way.

5. Not necessarily voluntarily...
SI said some teams were looking at him only as a back-up, but he wanted too much money and a shot at starting. So like us, he's watching the season at home.

Million-dollar arm, five-cent head.

9. Would he want to play for the Saints though?
Might as well play for the Chiefs.

10. And it's about time someone did!
I was worried I was the only one who was that old!

11. Remember how Catherin O'Hara of 2nd City - when she wasn't doing a spot on...
imitation of Katharine Hepburn - she could have gotten free drinks in bars with that one - did a GREAT Joey Heatherton "Perfect Sleeper" ad send-up?

Yeah, we're old, but at least "The Simpsons's" is written for kids our age. It's funny watching it with kids in their 30s who miss half the jokes!

12. That's very true...at least the earlier Simpsons were written for "us kids"...
...I really like Catherine O'Hara doing Elizabeth Taylor, stealing food from buffets.

6. Lifelong abused Lions' fan here. Joey stinks, stinks, stinks.
Like his predecessor, Scott Mitchell, Joey points fingers at everyone else and never accepts responsibility for his own failures.

Joey sucks. Has always sucked. Will always suck. What is New Orleans thinking?

7. Hopefully he won't be in a game

I just hope the Saints aren't planning on making him permanent number two cause Brunnel doesn't have too many years left. Then again there ain't that many good QB's in the league if ya go three deep per team.
