Red Sox about to lose in the ninth again...
...that's my prediction, and I'm sticking with it. BTW, it's the seventh right now.

2. They won.
But if you want to cast negative vibes their way, the Rays just creamed the Twinkies. And TB, by my count, won 10 of 15 from the Bosox. Even when they get the wild-card, I really don't think they will make it to the Word Series.

They shouldn't have gotten rid of Manny.

3. Disagree, they were on a slide with manny, dumped the twit, and
started a comeback. I don't think Tampa Bay is making it to the world series...they have really only come alive when they played the sox lately. Most likely TB will play Chicago or Minn, and I think they just might lose to them.

5. Yeah, but a lot of teams in the AL will have better records than the
Dodgers and won't make the playoffs. Their division sucks. That twit is doing well, but it ain't gonna last...eventually he'll feel disrepected and imagine he has enemies and the Dodgers will be more than happy when they finally dump him.

6. Next year maybe.
When Manny is a free agent and goes to the Yankees. But not this year.

7. Just what the Yankees need..another huge salary!
Seriously, the Yankees need to start bringing up new talent...Manny has a few good years left, but like Johhnny Damon, not as many as they'll pay for, and they pay through the nose for guys who are really good, but their best years are behind them.

11. Not just the AL. Several teams in the NL might finish with better records
and fail to make the playoffs. Happens every year.

10. Was at the game tonight...
and the Jays made it close in the 9th. I thought the ball Rolen hit was going to find the outfield for a single, but it fell before getting over Cora. And Snider the rook was just overmatched by Papelbon.

Good game though. The Jays were honouring Mookie Wilson tonight. We had some fun with the Sox fans sitting near us, talking about 1986 :)

15. It could be over today...
...but hopefully fairly soon...Boston has Baltimore in town early next week...THAT should be the clincher, if nothing else does it sooner.

17. And as of Sunday, it's still too...since you recall 1986 like I do..
...I tend to think it'll be a few more days til it's decided...but I can't see Toronto New York and Minnesota NOT being able to lose at least 2 games each during the final week.
