3. Yes they do. And I came as close as I've ever come
Monday night to throwing the plasma out the window.

The 49er players from the glory years must have been laughing and laughing at the epic failure.

I remember when the the 49ers would honest to God score a touchdown to start every single game they won the coin toss.

Boom. Three plays. Touchdown San Francisco.

I even remember when the Redskins were good. Boy did we have some fierce battles.

As for Barry, we all know that he has not been convicted of any crime, nor of violating a single MLB rule. Not one!

14. And the MVP of the 98 Vols "national champions" was
Arkansas QB Clint Stoerner who fumbled the ball away late in the Tennessee game to ensure the undefeated season for the Vols. Does anyone know if the UT band knows more then one song?

4. Jack Dempsey
did not take steroids. Still, I do not support your move to place him in the Bowling Hall of Fame.

5. Jack Dempsey
has an awesome seafood restaurant on Poland Avenue in New Orleans. Actually its a different Jack Dempsey but his seafood platters certainly seem to be on steroids. One platter would serve three C-boys for a week.

8. Did they serve
Jack Dempsey fish?

Jack Dempsey's Broadway Restaurant on Times Square was open from 1936 to 1974. One of my friends has an autographed painting that used to hang out there.

When my younger son was little, I could easily get him to do any hard outdoor work by saying, "Yeah, Jack Dempsey used to do _______ to train for his toughest fights." Our family still jokes about that. (He wants to get some Jack Dempsey fish.)

11. Huge arguments.
Of course, you probably could start an argument alone in a room. Multiplied, heaven forbid.

13. I must admit
to stealing the line about starting an argument in an empty room -- my wife often says this about me, and my children all agree. I, of course, argue the point .... even when they aren't here.

Don't forget the fight cards this week: on Versus tonight, and HBO on Saturday.

16. Their Seafood platters are ridiculously HUGE
kind of like your blind love of barry. Of course as everyone knows he hasn't been convicted of anything ever.

My wife and I got a seafood platter. We both rolled out the door chock full of seafood with a doggie bag that we got another meal out of.

22. Well OJ could only run for so long before he got back into trouble.
Barry is just a simple home run king, who is misunderstood.

And I'm hopeful everything works out for him in court.

21. I think one of my favorite memories was when I was at the
07 All-Star Game in San Francisco and Barry received the thunderous ovation from his loving fans.

I just kept thinking how mad everyone was in all of the other baseball cities, and it brought me immense joy.
