Skydivers?
OK! Where are all the Brothers in Silk? Who jumps and who wishes they have?

Skydiving is the most fun you can have with your clothes on.

...I have heard of nekkid skydivers.

I'm sure the breeze is fun but the landing's a bitch.

4. How many jumps? Where do you jump?
I just started two summers ago and only have 68 jumps. Santa is supposed to have a new container and reserve under my tree this year!

I began my jumps in Germany. When I moved back to the US I jump again in Frankfort Indiana.

6. Were you in the Airborne?
A friend of mine started sport jumping with me. He was in the 82nd. He washed out (static line method) at 5,000'! He said the adrenaline rush was too much to take! He had a bad habit of pumping his legs like he was on a bicycle during freefall. The "Wily Coyote" school of physics.

7. No...I wasn't in the 82nd...
I was in the 8th Infantry though. We found a little German jump club that was happy to have us as members. They have different safety standards over there. We had a 30 minute class, practiced PLFs and boarded the plane. I nearly broke both legs when I landed.

:)

8. My training was just a wee bit more
extensive. They showed a video! I got to the jumpsite at 8:00 am, class started at 8:30. First person was under canopy at 11:00! They told me to go to lunch, come back and jump! Oy!
