So, who does everyone like in the Jets/Titans matchup? |
|
I did something uncommon and picked the Titans -6 without doing a ounce of homework this week. This would seem to have high risk written all over it, considering the Jets are playing strong ball, have a better running game, and a better QB. But I took the Titans anyways.
My other picks for the week, to marvel at or laugh at...we'll know Monday. Jax -1 over Minnesota Carolina +1 over Atlanta NY Giants -4 over Arizona
The only one that feels like a gimme is the Giants pick. The rest are squirrelly to me. :)
What say the rest of you? Jets? Titans? Which grizzled graybeard QB will be the victor?

3. If T Jones scores Jets will win. He will need 80-90 rushing yards. |
|
I think he'll do it. Also, Favre can't throw more than 1 pick. I think he's learned the offense and is a different QB since the start of the season. Jets 20-17

4. Talking with a friend yesterday. |
|
Basically, we decided that when Favre tries to win a game on his own they lose. When he settles in and plays within a system the Jets win. So if he tries to do too much tomorrow I see more than one pick. If he stays within himself the Jets can pull this off.
I'm a Pats fan, but what a great football season so far. Seeing an actual race in the AFC East is awesome.

6. I really hope everyone is underestimating the Titans again... |

...strong defense always beats a good offense.

They have a ball hawking defense and Favre throws interceptions. He always has and always will. This game should be no exception.
