|
There first game of the season was an utter disaster and it only been gravy since - I think Seattle people as shocked as anyone.

2. It's becoming less of a mystery as time goes on |

They are a well constructed team. They lack a scoring center, but that's about it.
They are most assuredly NOT a soft team like the experts predicted. They may not score inside, but they do PLAY inside.
Danny Fortson is just a beast and Nick Collison is a lot tougher than I expected.
And Ray Allen is just sick.

3. They're shooting quite well |
|
but living by the jump shot will kill you in the long run.
Either way, I can't wait for our rematch on the 8th.

6. scoring's way up this year |
|
but I remember those days, as well.
Watching some of those old games on ESPN Classic has shown me something, though: nobody on those teams played transition defense worth crap.
It's a pendulum. Right now, defense is on top. Soon the offenses will start to catch up again.
The best rules change they've made is to shorten the time to get the ball over half court to 8 seconds. They're thinking of shaving another second off it.
That helps fight the instinct of the coaches to call the plays to the point guard as he brings it up. No time for that crap anymore.
