I put all roids users in the same category--- they're fucking cheaters. |
|
I don't give a shit who there are.
Now I admit some get more scrutiny than others--- perhaps because they hold records that Steroids helped them to achieve--- but no matter---they knew that they cheated and most are to cowardly to admit they juiced.
I think those who defend the cheaters are the one's who get smacked around here the most on DU----and deservedly so.

2. So, in keeping with your newly adopted policy of fairness |
|
you must feel that A-Fraud should be judged guilty until proven innocent, any records should carry an asterisk, no chance at the Hall of Fame, and he should be hounded mercilessly by the media and public....right?

4. More scrutiny? You mean more hatred trumad? |
|
I completely reject your inconsitent statement on MLB player performance enhancing drugs usage.
You're saying it's fair Barry Bonds is treated like a violent sex offender (and he is greeted that wat), because he holds records -- even though he was puting up huge numbers in his early days with the Giants. :wtf:
And Alex Rodriguez, who is on pace to hit, what, 900 homers, shouldn't immediately receive serial killer reaction (just like Barry Bonds receives)?
Why is that?
*****crickets*****?
Or will you answer this, maybe even without calling me a knucklehead or the gift that ...
I'm being serious trumad. I want to know.

6. Someone please explain to me HOW Bonds is treated worse than Roger Clemens... |
|
...seriously, everything about Roger comes out now (none of it pretty) nad he's being hounded...why do "some" people think Bonds is being singled out.

7. If a sex offender walked to the plate at a baseball game and |
|
and then Bonds walked to the plate at the same baseball game, I'm telling you there would be no difference in the reaction both received.
And you know that.

I'm sure Bonds would get a better reception than you. On the other hand, Pete Rose would get a much better response that either of you two.

Why do you think Bonds is a sex pervert? Is it that his personal life parallels Rush Limbaughs???

14. If he was putting up "huge" numbers why did he need to cheat? |
|
If billicheck is such a great coach, as Pats fans suggest, why did he need to cheat? Why did UA track coach McDonald hire a fucking idiot as an assistant coach?
If Mike Schmidt had done what bonds has done he'd have a thousand home runs cboy AND THAT WOULD NOT BE RIGHT. But, you keep on moralizing like a george bush publicist.
I'll call ya a knucklehead, because you are a knucklehead. And how's that alumnus with Obama carved in her face?

but it is a moot point. Until they (MLB, NFL, whichever organization you want to pick) clean up their respective sports these arguments are exercises in futility. Don't punish ten if a hundred are getting away with it. They know it goes deeper, we all know it goes deeper. Cheating is cheating but when everyone is doing the same thing it's a level playing field.
