If you're a well-paid athlete or star, you would probably want the party who caters to millionaires. Although it's also possible many of these are no longer Repub, especially after the last 8 years. I figure the list of donations is probably more accurate because they're putting their money where their mouths are.

Barry Zito's on the list. There's a link that says Alyssa Milano claims he is a conservative republican....but I can't find Zito's name on that site...not on the front page anyway...that's the only evidence they're giving for Zito being a republican? Well, I'm convinced. NOT

But where on his page does it say he's a Republican? Maybe I missed it but I don't see it. Having his name on a list with no verification doesn't prove anything. Look, I can believe he's a Republican. With "Captain Quirk" anything's possible. I just don't see anything definitive.

Kornheiser Wilbon Albom Lupica Feinstein
For starters Kornheiser was just livid over the impeachment on his ESPN radio show. As were his colleagues on the show, Dan Davis-The Duke, etc. They talked about it rather than the Superbowl.
During GWB's tenure, John Feinstein said he spent his weekends watching The West Wing on Bravo and pretending there was a Dem in the White House.
