1. A great day, last Thursday, Capt.
Besides being a good coach, he is truly a good man. Had the chance to converse a couple of times with him. Just down to earth. Thanks for posting. I thought Upton would beat you to it, though!

2. That win over PennState
must have turned the trick... Ferentz and the Hawkeyes did the entire nation a favor by sparing us another overrated Big 10 team in the BCS Championship game...for that alone, he deserves a new contract.

3. I will take that as a compliment, Upton

4. USC would have given either Gator or Sooner a run for their money. However, we will see how they do
with their next QB. Of course, they have never had a problem with sticking the last 3 QBs in "the system". I know the Hairdresser was mad when Sanchez left early. I wonder if that means his next QB isn't too good.

5. They've got 3 good QBs in waiting

Mitch Mustain, transfer from Arkansas,...Aaron Corp and Matt Barkley...all of whom were highly rated coming out of HS. In fact, Mustain and Barkley were rated the top QB recruits in the nation for their respective years.

6. Transfer from Arkansas, Upton?
Problem case from Arkansas. An asshole dad. Just like our Jake Christenson. Total tool. Good luck.

7. He was the backup most of last year to Sanchez
I didn't read or hear of any problems...Pete Carroll is a player's kind of coach. And if there are any difficulties, Corp was a California HS star.

12. Yeah, Capt. They're like little gnats.
Bothersome but harmless. He knows Iowa is The HAWKEYE state. Always has been, always will be.

11. Nice job by Chizek , Hobarticus.
How does it feel to support a program that is simply a stepping stone to the next job opening? You should of stuck with Mac. At least, he knew how to beat Iowa. unfortunately, that's all he cared about.
