Tiger Woods will tee it up next week ...
at the Accenture Match Play Championship in Arizona. I'm looking forward to seeing the world's #1 player once again hitting hit it long and straight.

1. Tiger needs to get back in play before the Masters.

2. But will he play golf like Tiger, or a mere mortal?
Edited on Sat Feb-21-09 10:21 AM by rocktivity
Tiger's super-duper-stardom is his stock-in-trade--like Michael Jordan and Muhammad Ali, his combination of extrordinary talent and extraordinary charisma attracts even non-sports fans (and their money). It would be interesting to see the average TV ratings before and after his forced hiatus.

Logic dictates that he's more dangerous on a good knee than on a bad one, and I'm sure he's put himself in the best possible physical condition. But only the grind of the actual tour will let us know for sure.

3. He won a major with a broken knee...
He can certainly win one with a repaired knee. Football players come back nicely from this type of surgery---and so should Tiger.
