The Cubs virtual waiting room
and waiting, and waiting... hm.. I may have to give up for a while, go do something productive and/or wait for the bleachers to go on sale. Anyone else trying to get tickets?

3. Sorry, I couldn't help myself.
I saw my first game a Wrigley last year and had a great time. Beautiful park, the people were nice and best of all, BEER VENDORS walking the aisles. I'll happily muscle down a couple of Old Styles if they bring them to me. We haven't had that at Fenway for as long as I can remember. They started doing it last year, but only in the sections I can't afford to sit in.

4. no problem. I guess since I haven't been a fan as long as others
I still find it humorous. :D

I went to Wrigley for the first time last year also. We sat in the right field bleachers and it was a wild game! They had to bring out the tarp in the 5th inning due to thunderstorms. We then ended up leaving while they sat there waiting to resume the game. The tornado sirens started and I freaked out! I'm a California girl - no tornadoes here. Anyway, we went back to my friends house, watched the game and they had to stop it due to weather. 80,000 lightning strikes in one hour. Pretty intense storm! Hopefully when I go back in May it will be a little calmer.

I would love to go to Fenway!! As a matter of fact my Chicago friend is trying to get to as many ballparks as possible to see the Cubs play and Fenway is at the top of her list.

Cheers! :toast:
