Its office, Moss traded to Oakland
The Vikings receive linebacker Napoleon Harris, the No. 7 pick in the 2005 NFL Draft and a late-round pick in the swap, which was done a week ago, but couldn't be made official until today.

"I've still got love in Minnesota," Moss said, "but with the Oakland Raiders, I get a new start and a chance to go to the Super Bowl."

Snip

As A Packer fan all I have to say is, YES!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Good Bye you worthless bastard!!!!!

2. you can have him
I mean how long will it take for Moss to get arrested in Oakland? Or, how long will it take for Moss to get upset with something and "quit trying" again.

I'm not trying to start a fight, but if Oakland is you "New Hope" you guys are in trouble.

3. No fight at all. The guy is a pain.
But we love pain. OK, he is allowed to get arrested in Oakland, many do. In fact, referring to the all pro defensive back George Atkinson, Chuck Noll called the Raiders "the criminal element of the NFL." Atkinson sued Noll in Oakland! and lost! We all know its true. Second, I'd like to see him "quit trying" in Oakland. We're getting our old attitude back and there would be a serious "rap session" with Moss (including the felon George Atkinson who still works for the Raiders.

In the 70's and 80's, the Raiders built excellent teams by taking guys just like this. They couldn't fit in anywhere else but came to Oakland and excelled. There are real incentives to cooperate and play well when you're (a) well paid and (b) under threat of a career ending smack down by the team "leaders."

I'll accept any measure of taunting next season if I'm wrong. How can I fight? This is the best news since Sap (another true sportsman in the Raiders tradition)!

5. Moss is not a bad boy
He is a whining punk. He is scared to run across the middle and "quits on some downs" Come on. The guys you listed were true bad asses that worked every down to prove it. Moss is a nothing, soon he will prove it. He does not have the same caliber QB now (no offense, but Collins is no Culpepper) and has to share the spotlight with Porter.

Moss will crash and burn in Oakland, mark my words.

7. Ok Dying Eagle, we're on.
You will be amazed with the new "Moss" after some serious hazing, prescription testosterone, and threats of "tomb stoning" Raiders style. I'm sure they'll resort to mind control or whatever it takes. Maybe let him room with Warren and only get out if he's not such a pussy! We'll take him, what else do we have going (hey, I don't mean that). We're f'ing great, yeah, that's it. CYA around and I WILL have a Dying Eagle "taunt thread" in the fall if this guy works out.

if he thought he was hard done by in Minnesota, the Raider Nation will chew his ass and spit it out. He MAY last until the end of the season.....

10. I am a packers fan, too . . .
And I was going to post something to the affect that Moss really didn't cause green bay that much damage throughout his career. but just for grins and giggles, I looked it up:

1998
| WK OPP | RSHYD | REC YD | TD |
| 5 gnb | 0 | 5 190 | 2 |
| 12 gnb | 0 | 8 153 | 1 |

1999
| 3 gnb | 0 | 2 13 | 1 |
| 15 gnb | 0 | 5 131 | 2 |
2000
| 10 gnb | -3 | 6 130 | 0 |
| 16 gnb | 0 | 4 136 | 1 |
2001
| 6 gnb | 0 | 8 73 | 0 |
| 16 gnb | 11 | 2 10 | 0 |
2002
| 11 gnb | 0 | 6 115 | 1 |
| 14 gnb | 0 | 3 25 | 1 |
2003
| 1 gnb | 0 | 9 150 | 1 |
| 9 gnb | 0 | 6 87 | 1 |
2004
| 16 gnb | 0 | 2 30 | 1 |

his numbers vs. green bay are right at his career average for catches, but he's +10 yards vs. his career average per catch against GNB. So, I guess we should be glad his a$$ is in oakland now.

especially considering how underwhelming the packer secondary is likely to be next year.
