So what is so wrong with this?

Rangers Censor "Yankees Suck" Shirt At Game

A Carrollton couple attending a Texas Rangers game for their anniversary was shocked when the Rangers nearly ejected the wife for foul language.

It wasn't what she said. It was a word on what she wore, which she argues was not a cuss word.

Walter Webb has been a Rangers fan since he was a little boy. He and his wife Kristen have been going to Rangers games throughout their 19-year marriage.

But, they won't be going back anytime soon after what happened at Tuesday night's Rangers game against the Yankees....

I mean it isn't as bad as calling them overpaid, prima donna, drug addict, womanizing, cheating, fucking sons-of-bitches, is it?

1. Did that describe the Yankees or the Red Sox right there?
Oh wait, they're one and the same. :eyes:

19. Manny Ramirez covers most of that for the Dodgers, without any help...
I'm not sure about the womanizing, but you can find that on pretty much any team in baseball.

4. I've never cared for the word "suck" anyhow...
It was funny one time, but now it's use is so generic and unimaginative that I pity people who use it.

Come up with some new insults.

6. Do people not know what it means?
I hear it used everywhere too - and I think it's slightly pornographic!!! Apparently most of the population doesn't associate it with oral sex.

7. It's also associated with sucking raw eggs.

Something my grandfather used to do. I don't see what's bad there.

But it is allowed on TV. I don't like it for your reason. Maybe Bill Clinton's ordeal made it more acceptable. :-)

On edit: It sure is allowed to be chanted at Fenway Park.

8. Oh the humanity. In San Francisco, when the organ
plays, duh duh duh duh-duh, duh duh duh duh-duh, duh duh duh duh duh duh duh duh duh duh duh .. DOGDGERS SUCK!

Why don't they just start ejecting people for that?

It seems MLB has enough trouble with all of the steroid abusers like Banny Ramirez and A-Roid than to worry about t-shirts like that. :eyes:

11. The Mariners tried pulling the same BS
a few years back...but Seattle isn't Texas and after a public outcry the ban was no longer enforced.

Texas continues its efforts at becoming the dumbest state in the union (with Kansas close behind). Why don't they just secede already?

17. That's a lot less obscene than the Rangers' record in the playoffs.
ONE playoff win in their 48-year history. That's unbelievable by any standard. I mean, the Bengals and Clippers point and laugh in their general direction. The Rangers are lucky to have any fans, much less fans like the Webbs.
