3. I was raised in the Bay Area

lived there for over 20 years all told... and not once did I hear a resident refer to the City as "Frisco"

In fact, as soon as I hear that word I immediately discount whatever else is being said.. as that term is reserved for those who know nothing about her.

6. You're a perfect example

you live back east...where it's crowded, polluted and just plain used up. The amount of times you've been west of the Mississippi I could probably count on one hand...you know nothing about the west coast.

8. A couple of points, Frisco Kid,

I have been to California a few times in the last 15 years. Each time I have learned what REAL congestion, polution, and plain being used up is. Thoroughly over developed with horrid highways.

On the other hand, we have "village centers" here where we can walk to and drop our dry cleaning off, get a hair cut, grocery shop, and get a nice cup of coffee after visiting the farmers market on Sunday mornings.

So when was the last time you were EAST of the Mississippi?

I'm sure all the sun you got living in California has killed quite a few brain cells as is displayed by your partner, cboy!

11. Ok, lets not take it there

It's been funny and good hearted ribbing thus far. I don't like it when it gets to all out city bashing and stuff. That's also gonna pull the mods in here.

Lets lay off that stuff.

And for shame that you have never been to upstate NY, East Long Island, Mass, NH, VT and Maine. Some of the most beautiful areas of the country in any season. Specially those northern states.

I've never been to the west coast but always wanted to experience Oregon, Washington, LA and San Fran.
