Victoria's Secret, CU sign deal
School among 33 cashing in on use of university logo

It's a licensing agreement that could get the University of Colorado some, ahem, exposure: The school has agreed to let lingerie empire Victoria's Secret use the Buffs' logo on everything from panties to letter jackets.

The new collegiate garb, which rolled out this month, is part of Victoria Secret's Pink loungewear label, which is more flirtatious and comfortable than sexy and lacy. The Buffs' logo is stamped on bikini underwear, hooded sweatshirts, pajama pants and even totes.

CU is among 33 universities nationwide - and the only college in Colorado - to ink the licensing deal, and school officials agreed to be a part of the collegiate line since it appears to be in good taste, university spokesman Bronson Hilliard said.

"When we reviewed the merchandise that was being proposed, we didn't see anything that was alarming or terribly risque," he said.

Is there ANY part/aspect/function within a school that hasn't been sold/licensed or isn't in some affiliation programs that force feed advertising or branding?

1. John Yoo sells his brand at Berkely Law school.
And Karl Rove sells his brand on his college campus tour.

Failed institutions, all.
