7. mr. SUCKretary Maybe
Edited on Fri Mar-12-10 07:31 AM by Dinger
Yeah, I'll go with that, and teachers' satisfaction matters, don't forget that. If he comes begging for our votes in 2012, he'll have issues, real issues. If he thinks our votes are expendable, he will find out different.

9. Wouldn't you?
Are you unaware of what Obama/Duncan are doing to education in this country? If you care about education and children and by extension the future of this country, you need to pay better attention. Big business already has its greedy mitts in the public coffers -- tax money for public education is ending up in corporate profits -- and the pockets of too many unscrupulous charter school operators.

10. Are you aware what the last eight years of Republican

11. We DO have more of the same--in fact it is WORSE.
Just because Obama has a "D" after his name doesn't mean he is in favor of teachers or public education; in fact, he is the most anti-public school president in American history.

16. No, That'd Be More Likely Under This administration
We won't have to wait for the next republican. We have someone now who is to the right of the rod paige. paige called teachers terrorists, this ed suckretary actually treats teachers like terrorists, with the blessing of our president.

13. Um, we are getting more of the same
Nothing changed as far as public education is concerned. Actually this Administration is doing rotten things Bush would have never dared.

20. yes, *that's* the problem. educators calling the sec of ed names.
nothing to do with the sec of ed selling out public ed to the highest bidder, & blatantly lying & rigging the process to boot.

*that* could never be "the problem," could it, ms. tetris?
