1. Arne is a great contributor to the administration's basketball team.
Congress doesn't dare play them and the SCOTUS doesn't even have a team if you can believe that.

10. Just following orders, huh?
Obama is micromanaging education policy? I don't buy it. Corporate whores have no business dabbling in education policy that affects the lives of millions of children.

7. Appointing the guy who defended GE's pollution of the Hudson as DOJ's lead guy on environmental
prosecution was worse.

DOJ nominee's industry experience a worry for some

...

Obama announced plans earlier this week to nominate Ignacia Moreno, counsel of corporate environmental programs at General Electric Corp., to serve as assistant attorney general for the Justice Department's Environment and Natural Resources Division (Greenwire, May 13).

...

Matthiessen, whose group focuses on cleaning up pollution in the Hudson River, said he was particularly troubled by Moreno's tenure as counsel to GE, whose plants discharged as much as 1.3 million pounds of polychlorinated biphenyls (PCBs) into the Hudson River in New York between 1947 and 1977. GE is accused of dragging its feet for years to avoid the costly cleanup.

I expect Republicans to enact Republican policy. When it's your so-called "allies" stabbing you in the back, it's many times worse.

12. Proof positive that our education system is failing.
So far, seven people have selected "Arne's doing a great job"
