DU meetups: Has there ever been one specific to the GLBT constituency? |
|
The thought popped into my head from researching a vacation. I'd bet getting a bunch of GLBT DUers on a cruise or something would be a hoot! And I guess some of the non-GLBT set could come, too... but that could be put to a vote!

1. Not that I'm aware, but I would totally be up for that! |
|
All of the DU Meetups I have heard of have been local and based on location, as to minimize the travel expenses for those that participate. Getting similar people together, who do not necessarily live close to one another, could present some logistical challenges and could make the trip an expensive one for some.
But I bet getting together with a bunch of GLBT DUers would be an absolute scream! :hi:

2. Yeah, it could get expen$ive.... |

In planning my April trip, I'm finding out just how much airfare has gone up... :scared: New Orleans to Los Angeles is probably going to cost me close to $400 bucks.

4. I miss her...I was able to be where she posted for quite a while |
|
until that place turned south.
Then, she was simply gone forever...god life sucks real bad sometimes....I still have a PM from her that I refuse to delete.
She was simply irreverent and refused to let people get away with slights and shit.

8. I'd join in if it weren't for that pesky distance thing... |
|
Plus while we're getting blue-er here in NH, we're still not very prideful yet. The one gay club I know in NH is mostly glbt-friendly straight people. It's like we're so close but still don't quite get it. Alas.
