Wisconsin Lawmakers Threaten To Pull College Funding In ROTC Gay Flap
http://www.365gay.com/newscon05/06/060205rotc.htm

The Wisconsin Legislature's budget committee has voted to deny state funding to University of Wisconsin campuses that turn away ROTC programs.

The 15-1 vote was a symbolic slap at UW-Stout Chancellor Charles Sorensen, who last month rejected a proposed Army ROTC chapter over the military's stance on gay soldiers.

Sorensen reversed his stance Tuesday, saying he will allow the chapter after realizing the federal government could yank $16 million in federal funding for his campus.

1. The power of money, principles melt in the face of kapital
An education institution that cannot discriminate on the basis of sexual orientation, is forced to accept a program that does discriminate on the basis of sexual orientation because of federal blackmail.
