America's Biggest Companies Support LGBT Workers

A new study of Fortune 500 firms shows that more of the nation's most powerful companies are supporting LGBT workers than even before.

Eight-three percent of the Fortune 500, now include sexual orientation in their non-discrimination policies. Of the Fortune 50 list - the most powerful of the most powerful - all but one ban discrimination based on sexuality. That one company is ExxonMobil.

An attempt last month to get a resolution passed at Exxon's annual shareholder's meeting failed - for the seventh year in a row. (story)
