NYC Radio Jock Apologizes For Tom Cruise Gay Remark
http://www.365gay.com/newscon05/06/060705cruise.htm

Don Imus has apologized for a remark by sidekick Sid Rosenberg that Tom Cruise is "a homo".

Imus, whose show is syndicated across the country and broadcast live on MSNBC television, took to the airwaves to say, "The other day Sid said something about Tom Cruise being a homo. Sid meant it as a joke. We know that Tom is not gay."

Rosenberg wasn't around for the mea culpa. He was fired over comments he made May 19 about Australian pop star Kylie Minogue's breast cancer.
