Theologian Challenges Pope To Rethink Church's Position On Gays
http://www.365gay.com/newscon05/06/060905reformation.htm

Crowds gathering in front of the famous Wittenberg Cathedral watched curiously as American theologian Matthew Fox walked to the building's great wooden doors and then nailed up a challenge to the Catholic Church just as Martin Luther did in 1517.

Like Luther, Fox believes that the church is in trouble and in need of a drastic change.

Fox's challenge was in the form an updated version of Luther's 95 Theses - applying them to today.

good luck but it's probably a project in futility

1. Luther was a heretic, Fox is a heretic, practically excommunicated from
Catholic Church - Ratzinger won't even read any of it. Tempest in a teapot, nothing more.

2. hell, those old fools have never come to terms with WOMEN
What makes you think they're ready to deal with gay men? They admit we exist and are born as women. They don't quite believe you exist, and think you'r just a bunch of self indulgent libertines who have freely chosen what they consider to be a disgusting (though oddly compelling) lifestyle.

The general sex phobia of the church, combined with its projection of male sin onto blameless women who exist as "occasions of sin" for the poor weak males, is a study in sexual pathology. They haven't come to terms with male homosexuals because they haven't come to terms with sex, period.

Don't hold your breath waiting for the church to change. Women aren't.
