Trial Date Set In Student's Gay T-Shirt Suit
http://www.365gay.com/newscon05/06/061505webbSchool.htm

A 16 year old high school student will go to court next year in a lawsuit over a t-shirt with a gay-positive message.

Lastaysha Myers is suing Webb City High School, superintendent Ron Lankford, principal Stephen Gollhofer and assistant principal Jeff Thornsberry.

Myers, who is straight, was twice sent home from school last November for wearing homemade t-shirts in support of gay students.

1. What a brave teenager!
That's great to hear. I hope she trounces them! I'm sure they have no leg to stand on. This is the kind of activism that it will take to get the outright bigotry stopped. It won't get rid of the bigotry, but at least, like for minorities, it won't be acceptable.
