CENSORED! BY US GOVERNMENT!
From: Gay.com Help

CENSORED! BY US GOVERNMENT!
Changes to our photo policy mandated by the Bush Administration
Always on the lookout for hot guys and ways to keep people from having fun, the US Dept. of Justice is taking a break from prosecuting terrorists to do something they think is more important: restricting your right to view and share photos online.

All member photos identified as adult on our site are temporarily unavailable for public view, due to the sudden, and unconstitutional, decision by the US Dept. of Justice to place new restrictions on all web sites around the world that do business in the US (I guess nobody ever told them the internet is borderless). Gay.com thinks your adult photos should be sexy, secure, and legally protected, so we've joined with other companies to seek an injunction against this ruling. We're doing everything possible to minimize its impact on you.

8. Straight sites, too.
Orientation doesn't appear to be a factor.

and yes. it supposedly effects all sites where there are "adult' pics, though the consensus so far is that pay sites and high profile groups will be targeted first. Though there is supposedly an injunction against the law at the moment.

Remember when Asscroft prosecuted the makers of Ass Clowns 3?

6. Injunction not yet
The hearing on the injunction is today. The ruling will be made tomorrow. The new law went into effect today.

I work for an adult site and have spent the last three days working on this. As of now we have 2,000 images online again (box covers) we had close to 80,000. Our sales took a huge hit last night when we pulled the images.

Here is to wishing I could bill Bush for lost hours and sales.....

but seriously, even if the Judge isn't a shill for the Shrubery, when has the Shrub ever let a court of law limit when he does?

I know what you mean about business loss. I have my own site and I have lost quite a bit because of getting rid of photos, concentrating on doing paperwork (most of which seems redundant and even useless considering what this law is supposed to be about) and not being able to sell our videos while we mail the paperwork to our video distributor.

I mean, I got no problem keeping records to show that all the models are legal. But these rules seem designed to just make it harder for it's own sake.

I know of one adult busines that is shutting down because of this after 18 years...

5. I saw something close to this
picture trading groups might have to start having the standard proof of age things for every picture that they transmit

that will effectively kill these groups

If someone wants to sit and home and get his or her jollies by looking at pics on the net, more power to them
