Missouri High School Settles Gay T-Shirt Suit
http://www.365gay.com/newscon05/06/062305webbSchool.htm

Webb City High School has agreed to settle a suit involving a 16 year old high school student barred from wearing t-shirts expressing her support for gay rights.

Lastaysha Myers sued the school, superintendent Ron Lankford, principal Stephen Gollhofer and assistant principal Jeff Thornsberry after she was twice sent home from school last November for wearing the homemade t-shirts.

One t-shirt had several handwritten slogans such as "I support the gay rights!" and "Who are we to judge?" The next day she wore one that bore a rainbow and the Webster’s dictionary definition of "gay": "Mrry, happy."
