Happy Gay Pride San Diego!

It's Pride this weekend and for the first time in years I'm excited - tons of people out and about already. Expecting 150k at the Parade Saterday;)

1. If you guys were smart you'd do this at Comic-Con.

For one thing, the fandom that does cosplay could be just as dazzling in their costumes. And there's cool stuff to look at.

Best of all, we nerds have absolutely no sex life. Oh, we may have inclinations but no ability to do anything with them. So we wouldn't be against gays; we'd envy you a bit.

By the way, how are you folk getting along in a city so conservative they roll up the sidewalks at 8:30 PM, and the damn trolleys stop running at 9:00?

2. Thats a great idea - Pride is a set weekend and Comic-con moves every year

So Comic-con needs to remember and just pick the 3rd Saturday of July:)

This is a sleepy town - even restaurants close at 9 or 10. Im a late night person and Im just use to only being able to eat at Chinese or Thai places at night. I have a car so I can get around - but public transit goes until late - just less frequently. Its one of my few complaints about San Diego.
