3. I've come late to Divine appreciation

A few months back, I caught John Waters' This Filthy World on Netflix. Not understanding the references, I sought out his films and the documentaries on them (I'm convinced there are far more documentaries on John Waters' movies than there are actual John Waters movies).

What a pioneer she was, and so utterly fearless.

Waters' early work is really something to behold. Guerrilla film making (no pun intended) at it's best. Talk about a perfect storm of fearless artists (Waters, Divine, Mink Stole, Edith Massey) willing to do ANYTHING for a laugh.
