Whats a Good Charity to Donate to this Holiday? |
|
Rather than The Salvation Army, are there any gay friendly charitable organizations to donate to this holiday?

3. flat earth society? Discovery institute in Seattle? |

the DC Catholic Church?
3 right there that are actually worse than Salvation. (Who i boycott, by the way).
Cancer, Diabetes, Blindness, always in need of $$$. But this year, how about shelters for the homeless, or even pet shelters? Families that cannot afford pets simply drop them off, some times abandon them in the streets.
Katrina was a major blow for their budgets, and now, with 17% unemployment, the pets are the first to go.

I'm giving to Heifer in the name of fam/friends, as gifts this year. Whether said fam/friends like it or not. :)
(Naw, I jest.. my family and friends are the kind of people who appreciate this sort of thing)

http://www.aliforneycenter.orgThey provide housing and many other services to homeless GLBT youth in New York City. We can't be generous ENOUGH to organizations such as this, IMHO.

As supported by the late, great Bea Arthur. This is one organization that should have branches in every state.
