Heard on GayUSA: Catholics for Marriage Equality mobilizing, fyi.

Welcome to Catholics for Marriage Equality (C4ME). Faithful Roman Catholics throughout the United States are raising their voices in support of civil marriage for same-sex couples. Become part of our united effort to create effective and respectful responses to our bishops' opposition to same-sex civil marriage. Sign our Declaration! Read and use our materials; share your ideas and information with us. This civil justice issue requires the prayerful work of each of us.

2. I'm an ex-Catholic to the extent that one can be an ex-Catholic
lol, but I'll always think and react as a Catholic. And, it feels good to see the social justice faction in the Church stand up and speak out. :)

4. Thank Goodness for them.
After so many years of the Religious Right dominating the debate, it is refreshing to hear someone from the Religious Left.

6. "effective and respectful responses to our bishops' opposition"
What part of the bishop's opposition to equality deserves a respectful response?

Pro-gay catholics make exactly as much sense as log cabin Republicans or jewish neo-nazis. How much self-loathing do you have to have to support an organization that defines you as less than human?

So much mis-directed energy.
