I found out on this trip home that my sister's inlaws (she has been married 10 years) freaked at |
|
the notion of their marriage due to my being gay (they were afraid their grandkids would be gay). She sadly is likely unable to bear children so it turns out to be a non issue but still. I always knew those inlaws were nuts.

At least they seem to accept people are born gay instead of choosing to be gay.
They're still wacko bigots though.

4. The good news is that people who hate gays.... |
|
are still the stupidest people on the planet. Apparently, you can count on it.

5. Tell them not to worry... |
|
...that gayness skips a generation, like intelligence does. Then tell them how smart you think their parents were. I'm sure they won't get it.

13. When I first came out, my boss at the time immediately started harping on me. |
|
It lasted until I had to finally leave that place of employment.
The boss's daughter later turned out to be bi. The boss even kicked the daughter out of the house for having a relationship with another woman.
The daughter turned out to be a really nice person, despite her hate fueled upbringing.
It's funny how things work out sometimes. I still have a chuckle when I think back to all that. The irony that a homophobic boss from hell ended up with a wonderful bi daughter never ceases to amaze me.
