Celebrities sponsor gay-friendly prom in Miss.
Lance Bass and Green Day are among the stars chipping in

TUPELO, Miss. - Green Day, former 'N Sync member Lance Bass and celebrity chef Cat Cora are among those helping to pay for a gay-friendly prom in Mississippi next month.

Organizers say the event is open to everyone but geared toward gay students.

The American Humanist Association also will contribute $20,000 for the May 8 event in Tupelo

8. No, That's Stupid.
Not one of those assholes who attended the stealth prom should be able to attend this celebration. Gay people should not lick the feet of the people who just kicked them. That doesn't get us respect. It gets us kicked again.

There should be consequences to hate, and not being invited to attend a terrific party that is only happening BECAUSE OF THEIR INTOLERANCE is the least of what they should have to endure.

9. sigh.
Why do I think letting them in and going all carrie on their ass would be so satisfying?

See, we should throw a fake "gay prom" and make sure the attendees of the original hidden prom all get invitations to a special prom . . . .

Alas I have a conscience, dammit. Pesky thing, that.

6. The American Humanist Association
has pledged $20,000; with the other donations, you know her prom is going to be BIG. In addition to that a few celebrities--including Lance Bass--will be attending.

Constance has extended an invitation to all of her classmates. Even the ones who were total assholes and treated her like dirt.

That's what we call class.

Q3JR4
I'm betting that most of her class mates will be attending if only to meet some celebrities.

7. ....
Since most of the celebrities who are donating--at least the ones mentioned in that link--are doing so because they are gay (Bass), lesbian (Cora) or have LGBT identified members (Green Day), maybe her class mates will stay away?

Oh well, more for Constance.

Also she has a $30,000 scholarship for school.

So, yeah. She can afford to be magnanimous.

Q3JR4
Would probably have told the other kids to go f*ck themselves and invited all of the special needs students who were left out in the cold with her. But I don't have her class I guess. :)
