Duke GOP club leader says ouster is due to his sexuality

The former president of Duke University’s College Republican club is alleging he was ousted last week because he is gay. But the official impeachment article makes no mention of sexuality.

Justin Robinette, a Duke junior who was just re-elected for a second term in March, said revelations about his sexual orientation led to discrimination and harassment of him and his executive board.

“Comments were made directly to me and my executive board before and after the meeting concerning my sexual orientation, calling me a supporter of the faggot center, calling me ironic, calling me disgusting,” Robinette told The Daily Tar Heel.

Gays aren't really welcome in the republican party, no matter what piece of candy they hold out for you.

And just remember Mr. Robinette, a tax cut for the wealthy will not apply to your estate or anything you will to your long time shoe butler or whatever you have refer to your partner as at your republican society gatherings.

Cause you still won't be legally married - and the people you've thrown your lot in with would refuse to recognize it anyway, and are just using you, and will discard you in a heartbeat when you've served your purpose.

I just can't work up a whole lot of empathy. Yep, it's that way with those people, and that's who ya hang out with? You need new friends.
