Are GOP gay rights advances a threat to Democratic Party
majorities in the LGBT demographic? We have Prop8 being tossed now DADT, and an angry Demographic. Who Knows?

3. well now we have the specter of a Gay group
fight for a Gay issue and a Dem Admin probably appealing and defending the policy, It just may cost votes,esoecially among "casual" voters

7. They are not the GOP but rather
an affiliated group, the GOPs platform still supports dont ask dont tell the last time I checked as well as the GOP supports denying gay couples equal rights granted to heterosexual couples so no, this wont be a win for the GOP.

5. I think the Log Cabin Rs being behind the DADT ruling is a good thing, given the upcoming elections.
The pukes can spin it as a threat to national security, but they can't pin it on the Dems.

6. Could be...
they lost the blacks and latinos, they likely figure they can win the gay vote...they'll lose the fundies then, but that may be a good thing all around not to have them making the calls anymore...
