E! Co- Host Jokes Adam Lambert Would Enjoy Getting Raped in Prison

During a report on Adam Lambert's recent altercation with a paparazzi, Michael Catherwood, co-host of The Daily 10 on E!, joked "from what I know about jail, Adam Lambert probably wouldn't have too bad a time."

Because what gay man wouldn't enjoy getting raped, right?

GLAAD complained to E! and Catherwood later tweeted out an apology to Lambert:

@adamlambert: @MCatherwood @adamlambert I've always been a vocal supporter of the Gay community. If offense was taken I'm sincerely sorry. Merely an attempt at comedy.

And here we have yet another "if offense was taken" apology, but this one seems rather self-serving and reads as if Catherwood really doesn't get how unfunny this is on multiple levels.

Catherwood was later seen with Katy Perry performing "Us So Gay" as they bonded over what supporters of the gay community they are.
