I couldn't watch all of it. When he started crying and talking about the pain his parents would feel if he finished the story I had to turn it off, afraid of what was coming.

He only alludes to what he almost did, but he goes to say how he wished he could invite his 13 year old self to see him win an election, fall in love, make a life commitment with his partner, and have a wonderful relationship with his now supporting family. It's so compelling. It's a true 'it gets better' tale of fear, loathing, pain, love and bittersweet triumph. :hug:
