Do you ever get sick of people staring at you when you hold hands in public? |

With someone of the same gender, I mean.
I was on a date with a girl last night, in downtown Toronto, no less, and this dude on the subway WOULD NOT STOP staring at us. And it wasn't an "oh, that's cute" look, either. It was the "OMG GAY PEOPLE" stare.
I mean, looking right at us, and being super obvious about it.
I was tempted to ask "Is there a problem, sir?"

1. That would depend on his thoughts. |

It would depend if he was seeing the beauty shared between loving people, or if he was thinking of himself.
Was he smiling?

2. I felt awful for doing it once. |

It wasn't a stare, it was about a half a second quick glance. But after I did it, then stopped holding hands. I really hope that it was for some other reason. It was pretty warm that day, so it might have been sweaty hand syndrome. It generally makes me really happy when I see two people feeling comfortable enough to express their love in public.

I'm chicken to do it here in "liberal" Minneapolis. I see younger guys/gals doing it tho and it makes me feel awesome to see.
